Dave Sackett is the Senior Director of Finance & Administration for ULVAC Technologies, Inc. in Methuen, MA. ULVAC is a Japanese-owned company that sells manufacturing equipment, components and services to high tech companies; like those in the semiconductor market. He graduated from Westfield State University with a degree in Business Management/concentration in Accounting. He promotes the concept of lifelong learning. His career focus has been to streamline and improve operations which have primarily been through the use of technology. He is on a national committee to investigate finance and technology solutions. He speaks on the topics of AI, RPA, Accounting Automation, ERP solutions, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a fast-growing, artificial intelligence (AI) using technology that should eventually impact nearly all finance and accounting departments. Many Fortune 100 companies are going through a digital transformation and they are utilizing software bots today. Smaller companies have an opportunity now to implement an RPA solution on a much smaller scale for a positive ROI. Dave will share his research and the experience of his RPA implementation to reduce manual transactions. Other solutions using RPA will be introduced. Questions and audience participation are encouraged throughout the presentation.
