Susan E. Bos, CMA, CPA, CFE, is a distinguished leader in the fields of accounting, ethics, and public service. She currently serves on the IMA’s Board of Regents, and Michigan Association of CPA’s Ethics Committee. Recently retired from being Deputy Treasurer for Washtenaw County, Michigan, Sue brings decades of experience spanning corporate finance, government service, and nonprofit leadership. Her career began in international financial reporting and controllership roles, and for more than 30 years she has been a dedicated member of the IMA. Sue holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Sue is a nationally recognized advocate for ethical leadership and has been named multiple times to the list of Top Thought Leaders in Trust, by Trust! magazine. On the IMA Sue has served as Chair of the Committee on Ethics, the Finance Committee, the Women’s Leadership Forum, and the Performance Oversight & Audit Committee. She is a past president of the prestigious Stuart Cameron McLeod Society and a former member of IMA’s Global Board of Directors. In 2015, she received IMA’s Exemplary Leadership Award for her outstanding service. Whether through mentoring young professionals, advancing public finance practices, or championing ethical standards, Sue Bos continues to be a respected voice in our profession. We are honored to have her present to us on professional ethics.

o From North Station, you can connect with the Southbound Orange Line

Alewife and drop at Kendall/MIT.
The event hall (3-108 DEN) can be accessed by MIT guest pass (details below)
at 77 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139. About 150 feet down the
hallway.
